One of the most enticing things about this area of the desert is the Colorado River. It's practically at my doorstep! I think when all is said and done, this river is the reason so many people end up staying in this location.

We can go to the river all year long, but believe me the water is cold! Not too many people stick even their toes in water during the winter, but it's still beautiful to sit along the little beaches in sweats and enjoy the peacefulness of the running water.

Here are a few of the photos I've taken of my trips out by myself, with friends and Deanna last summer (2007). What's that phrase? Oh yes, Kodak moments! More moments to come .....but that's it for now.
